The mission and vision of TEDDY'S RESCUE, INC. is to place dogs and cats, of all sizes and all breeds, who currently have no home into a loving, forever home.
We are committed to providing the animals that come to Teddy’s Rescue with the best possible care while they wait for their forever homes. This includes each animal being spayed or neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations and on heartworm maintenance.
We place animals in loving, responsible, committed, permanent homes following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing an animal into their homes and lives.
We strive to work with area shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets.
We never euthanize animals due to space or time constraints, but we may elect to euthanize in the event of a severe, untreatable, debilitating illness or dangerous behavior concerns. Because we do not euthanize to make space, however, we cannot take in every animal that needs help.
